It was intriguing to hear the name– The Aviary Asian Fusion & Café, my initial inclination was a memory of an eco-aviary. But little did I know that visiting the restaurant would tantamount to a whole different dynamics. We went there last March 19, travelling from Manila. It is situated along the urbanized highway of Banca-banca, Victoria, Laguna. It has spacious parking area and you’ll be greeted by the aesthetic facade of the restaurant.
The décor is such an eye candy! They had a brilliant execution of industrial-rustic-Scandinavian-contemporary design with stylish incorporation of plants while being anchored by the well structured tempered glass exteriors. Every table design offers a homey yet elegant feel and gives you a good sense of comfort that sets the tone of what to expect from their menu.
They offer wide array of cuisine—Filipino, Japanese, Korean and Chinese. We tried their lunch buffet where in they featured a Japanese feast. They had generous serving of yakisoba, yakitori, tonkatsu, dedicated maki station, salad bar, and dessert buffet that are all mouth watering! But one of my friends and I devoured the tempura which was so delicious and authentic! The pink lemonade (my fave) is undeniably refreshing, while the red velvet is to die for! It was a perfect match to the hot hazelnut cappuccino that concluded my food-venture that day. And don’t forget to personalize your coffee by requesting a 3D design on your froth! I noticed, some of the customers opted to have the regular menu and the “Marites” in me kicked in to peek at their order servings and boy, I say it’s worth the price! The restaurant is also suitable for families, children, large groups, and even more intimate gathering.
I find the service excellent. The crews are very attentive to the needs of the customers and even offer water ahead of time. Billing out was also speedy and far from any hassle. One thing they need to improve on is the cleanliness of the ladies rest room which for me is also a great factor to consider in any restaurants.
Over all, I highly recommend this place as it meets an elite standard and it caters to an exceptional palatable experience. Now, I understand that the restaurant is true to its name—a fusion of design, food, and experience!
I can’t wait to try their dinner buffet.
